The first step on your Japanese journey is learning how to read and write. Japanese consists of 3 alphabets: Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. Hiragana and Katakana are phonetic alphabets consisting of syllables. Kanji are Chinese characters used in Japanese. We have created free practice booklets for you that will help you master read and write Hiragana, Katakana and the most basic 91 Kanji characters!
