In just 2 weeks of our Japanese Crash Course you’ll learn useful essential Japanese phrases needed to navigate daily life in Japan, as well as discover Japanese cultural activities and take virtual tours. By the time you finish this crash course, you will have the basic Japanese speaking skills to survive in Japan.

  • Can anyone take this course?

    Yes, this course is open to anyone interested in learning basic Japanese and taking part in online activities, no previous knowledge of Japanese language is needed!

  • How does this course work?

    In this two week course, there are 10 days of lessons, one for each weekday. Each day has 4 main topics 2 about the Japanese language and 2 about Japanese culture, each lesson is also divided in sub-lessons of different types for both the language and culture. The lessons range from written lessons, audio recordings, role-play and guided practice videos, infographics and also cultural activity videos. You will have access to the content of the course for 3 months from the day you register so you can complete the lessons in your own time. If you cannot finish it within 3 months, don't worry. You can enroll in our alumni subscription to extend it with a monthly fee.

  • Are there live classes?

    Although you will be able to interact with our staff and other students through the courses student community, you will not have live classes. Our lessons are pre-recorded to allow you to complete lessons at a time that suits you best.

  • Do I need a special browser for the course?

    There are multiple browsers from which you can access and complete the course both on desktop and mobile. For the best results, we recommend using Chrome.

  • Will I get a certificate for finishing a course?

    Yes! You will get a certificate of completion issued by Go! Go! Nihon when you finish the course, you will also get exclusive discounts for our other courses if you want to keep learning, for our Tokyo guidebook to help you if you are planning a trip and also our in-person studytrips to Japan.
