Go! Go! Nihon created this course with their in-house Japanese instructor Yoko Hori, who has 9 years of teaching experience working at various institutions in the U.S. She will be managing the courses community, responding to any queries or questions, and giving students feedback throughout the course.
The course is suitable for someone who has at least finished learning N5 and N4 level Japanese. That is equivalent to your first-year study in a language school in Japan or two years of Japanese studies at many universities in the U.S. However, it depends on the university you attend, so please make sure to check the course content before signing up for the course.
As long as you have a computer and a stable internet connection, you can take the course anywhere and at anytime you want! The 11-chapter course begins when you enrol, with one chapter of 5 days' worth of lessons being released each week until all the course content is unlocked. We advise you to complete the lessons chronologically but don’t worry if you cannot complete them when they are released. Once you have bought the course, the content is available for six months from when you join.
There will not be any live classes, however, you will get direct feedback from the course teacher on your speaking and discussion assignments. Also, you can ask questions on the course community as well as interact with your peers.
In order to finish the course you must complete all the lessons. The course has an expiration date which is 6 months from the date of purchase. This 11 chapters course was intended to be completed with one chapter per week, studying for about 2 hours a day, Monday to Friday. If you keep to this schedule you can finish the course within 3 months. If you cannot finish the course within 6 months, don't worry, you can enroll in our alumni subscription to extend it with a monthly fee.
The course costs ¥99,225 for all 110 hours of lessons, content and access to the community for 6 months.
Yes, you will receive a course showing you have completed 110 hours of study, however, you need to successfully complete all lessons to receive it.
